No…this is just a reminder that Mother Nature has a way of making time march on and even puppies grow up and move away from home…so before they do move on to creating mayhem in their new homes, don’t forget the Sm Fox Puppy cam here if you would like a puppy fix while it’s still available. I leave my monitor on so i can watch them off and on all day (sometimes it’s better than television), and today i looked up in time to see them enthusiastically dismantling the nice backdrop Chele has put up around their puppy pen. They really are quite funny and naughty at this age . Altho at one point today, the sound feed cut in suddenly and then i remembered the unfun bits of raising a litter and why it’s sometimes nice to pack their little suitcases and send them off to their new families. The yodelling and howling came winging thru cyberspace and caused a bit of frenzied mayhem among my own dergs. I’m sure poor Scooterdog had a few nasty flashbacks to when he was the littlest guy in the puppy pen and getting picked on by his bigger and meaner siblings.
And FYI…these guys are in upstate New York, and because babies need their sleep…the camera seems to be shut off at about 7pm PST…so you won’t see anything during certain hours…or if they ‘accidentally’ bump the camera while renovating their play area. They’re so cute…
my own babies in our last litter, at about a week old...they will be three years old next month. Where does the time go!? That's Scooterdog and the Beautiful One in front.

awwwwww, Babies, human or canine do grow up fast. And both make us feel that same bittersweet feeling.
It is the same in many ways…my sister used to laugh that i sometimes had the same things going on in my house with the dogs (sibling rivalry, mischief making and mishaps) as there were in her house with her little boys…especially when we would be on the phone with each other. And puppies are so much like babies when you have them in your house underfoot…

Yeah…with the time change, it seems that it goes off around 7 or 8 pm…and then sometimes intermittently during the day….but they are so much fun to watch when it’s on. Even when they’re sleeping…
